Centre MATERIA and the Maison des m\u00e9tiers d\u2019art de Qu\u00e9bec will be presenting CONFETTIS3<\/sup>, <\/i>an exhibition marking the end of the academic road for graduating students from the DEC in Techniques de m\u00e9tiers d\u2019art (diploma of collegial studies in fine crafts) at C\u00e9gep Limoilou. Under the honorary presidency of Alexandre<\/b> Taillefer, art collector and chairman of the board of administrators at the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019art contemporain de Montr\u00e9al, the opening will be held at Centre MATERIA on May 29 from 5 p.m.<\/b><\/p>\n Three years, three disciplines, and a wealth of discoveries and encounters materialise in this exhibition where talent and know-how are multiplied. Though often serious or very personal, the works are gathered around a festive and rallying theme, as a milestone on the journey of these emerging craft artists.<\/em><\/p>\n Alexandre Taillefer\u2019s attendance at the opening on May 29, 2015 emphasizes the ambition of the graduating students as they embark on their career journey. Many prizes will be awarded during the evening to reward the most remarkable work by graduating students.<\/p>\n With this exhibition, Centre MATERIA wishes to start these emerging craft artists on a career path filled with passion and discovery.<\/p>\n Ceramics: <\/b>Laurence Desgagn\u00e9s, Nathalie Gagn\u00e9, Julie Magnan; In September 2015, MATERIA will celebrate its 15th anniversary!
